Isaiah 40:31King James Version (KJV)

31  But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they

shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be

weary, and they shall walk, and not faint.

Minister Cornegy was raised in a Home that feared and loved the Lord. Her Mother, Vicky, was

a woman who loved God with everything that was in her and she demonstrated this love in her

daily walk before her children. It was through her Mom that she was exposed to Sunday School,

Bible School, Vacation Bible School, Youth Choir and learning how to be a Servant in the House

of God. She is the proud Mom of 6 grown children and grandmother of 8. Following in her

Mother’s footsteps, she has trained up her own family in the ways of the Lord and is grateful

they have not departed.

Minister Cornegy gave her life to Christ at the young age of 13, under the Late Joseph J. Howell

and accepted her call to Ministry some 28 years later, in 2007 at a women’s conference. Her life

was forever changed. It was at this conference that she had an incredibly intimate, life

changing, personal experience with God. The “old man went down, and the NEW man got up!”.

Minister Cornegy was licensed in May of 2011 and has proclaimed this Gospel as a living

testament of Just What God Can Do! She has served leadership in various capacities over the

years. Now, a part of the Ministerial Staff of The Place Of Deliverance, she continues her

journey, excited about what God is continually revealing and developing inside her Gifts.

Isaiah 40:31 is one of her favorite scriptures and an intimate depiction of her life and walk with

God. Determined to “Wait Upon The Lord”, Minister Cornegy has come to understand what it

is to be RENEWED by your Father, to run and not be weary and to walk and not faint. Her Faith

has sustained her and is always a point of Praise on her lips. She commonly borrows one of

Pastor Kim’s favorite quotes…” Wasting Days are OVER!”, as an ever-present reminder of the

Grace upon her life.

Serving under the leadership of Pastor Kim Hargwood, Minister Cornegy strives to be an

encourager to others, a light in a dark place by sharing experiences, life, testimony and most of

all THE WORD OF GOD. She is still Running the Race with God and has decided ,There is NO

OTHER WAY!
